I saw her featured on the original CNN “Weed” special with Sanjay Gupta. She had ongoing seizures daily and a CBD strain grown by some brothers in Colorado with no THC stopped them.  The brothers originally thought, who in the world would want a pot strain with no THC?  It ended up being exactly what she needed so they named the stain after her.  A sad ending to a hopeful story.

That’s heartbreaking.  🙁

“Charlotte is no longer suffering. She is seizure-free forever. Thank you so much for all of your love,” read the post, which also asked the public to respect Figi’s family’s privacy.

“Your work is done Charlotte, the world is changed, and you can now rest knowing that you leave the world a better place”

What??  I’m not crying.  *YOU’REcrying.

Big crybaby.

Only the good die young.

If nothing else, let this serve as a reminder that no age group has been completely spared by COVID-19.

My sincere condolences to her friends and family.

Tragic to come so far to pass so young. 😞

Eh that wont stop people saying that we should reopen everything since young people ”don’t die from the virus”…

RIP sweet Charlotte, you are free from this tainted orb  and dark plane of existence

/ I seriously need to do something about this dust..

Has anyone checked in on Wilbur?

Thanks, be sure and let us know if any puppies get cancer.

Resigning myself to the fact that stories like these are going to pile up in the weeks to come isn’t making it any easier. It’s bullshiat

No snark intended at all with this post.

This little girl’s success is exactly why big pharma lobbies so hard to keep marijuana illegal. Between seizure control (both chronic, like her condition, and temporary post-surgery), and treatment for traumatic brain injury there is big money to be lost if a weed becomes legalized as a drug. As it stands, even developing a non-THC variant for this girl was illegal at the federal level since pot is a schedule 1 narcotic.

I doubt this country is going to wake up and realize they’ve made a mistake, but maybe, just maybe…

Where do YOU live? It’s been legal here in Michigan for several years now; First as medical only, and now as recreational (since 2018).

Go after your state and get it on the ballot. That’s what we did. It actually farkin’ worked. Now, ironically, marijuana dispensaries are among the businesses classified as essential during the pandemic.

Can’t wait till its schedule 2 so no one can get it again, but big pharma can get rich and do “research.”
That’s where we’re going.

FAKE!  Didn’t this girl ‘die’ at Sandy Hook?  More lies to discredit Great Orange Leader!

Blessings of peace, Charlotte

We did. He said this virus will probably be a boon for the economy.

They say smoking kills you, but my uncle smoked 20 a day and lived till he was 85.

Obviously this is god telling you heathens to stop using the devil plant.

The cat is out of the bag so to speak. Her case helped break medical marijuana and changed the landscape. Her name will forever be associated with legalization.

I don’t think she was a big smoker.

Or saying that she obviously had a medical condition so it doesn’t matter.

You missed the “federal” part.  He’s talking about why it hasn’t been legalised at the federal level.  Because the lobbying groups brib… I mean donate and provide nice trips for congress.

Congress., she didn’t smoke it.  Cbd oil, pill for or mix with food.

I’m deeply saddened by this news. This little girl and those around her did an amazing amount of good for a lot of people. God speed dear girl…

Dboat: This little girl and those around her did an amazing amount of good for a lot of people.

That can’t be stressed hard enough! I personally know so many that it has helped it’s ridiculous. This little lady and her family did more good for the planet in her 13 short years than most people manage in a lifetime. I’m very glad her name will live on in the strain as well as history. She deserves to be remembered.

A strain with no THC?  So, can people with condition like hers be treated with the CBD oil that is now available darn near everywhere, and no longer need the special strain?

I tellya, Fark is going to need a funerary tag.  “Sad” is getting overused.

Once it’s legal in all 50 states–and it seem to be on its way–the federal government will cave.  Heck, if it becomes legal in enough states, the feds may be unable to prosecute anyone without two or three jokers on the jury refusing to convict.

I hear that kept happening in the later years of prohibition.

The medical harm of prohibition is but a drop in the ocean compared to the damage caused to the criminal justice system and the general population.

/RIP

I have hoped for years to not see another parent have to bury their child. Sadly, it happens all too often.  My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

Thank you, Charlotte.

You are the reason I could sleep without the hag. After 14 years, I am finally able to sleep multiple nights in a row without fearing an episode.

/gotta plant a few seeds on her grave if I ever get out there. . .

The feds maintain that cannabis has no medical uses and is therefore more illegal than fentanyl or methamphetamine. The feds also hold a use patent for CBD as a medicine to treat brain damage and have approved synthetic THC to treat appetite loss in cancer patients. The hypocrisy is staggering. Just another reminder I live in a failed state masquerading as a world hegemon.

and this is relevant for why?  Fark has gone to “corrected by the fark overlords”
