Lucas Dunaway - Director Of Operations

Lucas comes to the Arcadian Cove Community with a strong background in communications and senior care.  After earning his B.A. from Eastern Kentucky University, Lucas started his career as an Admission & Marketing Director for a long term care facility. He soon accepted a position as the Admission & Social Service Director for a Personal Care and Rehab Facility.

 In recent years, Lucas has completed many training seminars from KALFA and the KAHCF in topics including Administrator Training, Understanding Alzheimer’s, Activities for Seniors, Staffing Issues, FNA/Hospice, The Moving In/ Moving Out Process, Residents Rights, Warming Up The Workplace, Person Centered Care, Marketing for Baby Boomers, and many others.

Lucas’ fun-loving personality, compassion for the elderly and wide-range of previous experience helps him bring joy and superior functionality to Arcadian Cove.

Christian Wright – Administrative Services Manager

Assisted Living is a newly found career path for Christian Wright.  While searching for a job in her new Richmond-area home, Christian was pointed towards a new facility with a big plan!  After learning about the world of Assisted Living, Christian has implemented a personal goal of improving & maintaining a superb quality of life for the current & future Clients who come home to Arcadian Cove.  Christian believes that utilizing her experiences in administration will help keep the business aspect of the Cove running smoothly.  This will keep the main focus on the Clients & their happiness!

After completing a technical course & beginning pursuit of a degree in Business Administration, Ms. Wright has been blessed with lots of experiences from different areas of business. That experience includes International Banking, Claims Administration, Human Resources, Publications & Marketing, Sales, Retail Store Management, Accounting Assistance & many years of Customer Service.  Christian is currently is taking online classes for Medical Terminology & Transcription & hopes to continue the pursuit of her degree in the near future.

Ms. Wright & her husband Adam both yield from families with strong Christian values and hard-work ethics.  By clinging to her upbringing,  she strives to live by the Golden Rule and treat each & every person with dignity, & respect.  It is her hopes that her experience and values will help uplift the lives of the Clients at Arcadian Cove!

 Kimo von Oelhoffen - Owner

Kimo von Oelhoffen was raised on the island of Molokai in Hawaii.  After graduating from high school he attended Walla Walla community college in Washington and was picked up by Boise State where he played football and graduated with a Major in Biology.  He met his wife, Tondi while attending college. Kimo and Tondi have three beautiful daughters and make their home in Richland, WA.

Kimo formed a construction company in 2001, located in Washington State which performs State, Federal and private projects that include bridges, parks, underground utility and commercial buildings.  The construction company has completed over 50 major projects, and numerous small projects. Kimo has developed and built over 35,000sf of commercial buildings, and 120 residential lots and homes, which he currently manages. 

He also played in the NFL for 15 years, from 1993 – 2009.   He has played for the Cincinnati Bengals, the New York Jets, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Pittsburgh Steelers, where his team won Super Bowl XL in 2005.  Kimo started and played in over 215 games and was a two-time all-pro selection.

In 2007, the opportunity to be involved in the senior living community arose.  Mr. von Oelhoffen, who had been raised by his dear grandfather and grandmother, found the opportunity to be true to his heart. Kimo had made the decision in 2008 to make Arcadian Cove his new career and focus in life.  He has been working with the elderly throughout his NFL career and is looking forward to creating a comfortable and safe environment for them, and to continue being involved.

Kimo believes that behind the start of every successful business venture is defining its “meaning”.   This “meaning” for Kimo, is a personal passion to provide top quality services and experiences for our residents, a work environment that promotes safety, comfort and growth for our employees and to serve our community with any and all resources which he and Arcadian Cove can provide.  It is also the commitment to be the leader in quality personal services and honoring the independence and experience of our residents.
